PURPOSE: To eliminate Handoff in a base station by connecting each talking receiver to plural reception antennas provided to cover all the area of the base station.

CONSTITUTION: When a mobile equipment 4 existing in a service area 7a moves from a service area 7a to a 7b, a readio wave f1 from the mobile equipment 4 is received by reception antennas 1a, 1b and the reception level of the f1 is measured by scanning receivers 8a∼8b. A control section 9 compares the reception levels in the frequency f1 measured by the scanning receivers 8a, 8b and selects a higher level. The result of comparison is transmitted to an antenna switching device 10-1 and an antenna having a higher reception level is connected to a receiver 3-1 having a talking frequency f1.
