To provide a switching device which can structure a simple push/push type switch without complicating processes and controls and improve contact reliability of a contact point in case of infiltration of dusts and foreign matters.

The switching device is provided with a driving plate 6 fitted under an operation lever 3 arranged in free up and down movement in a case 1 and rotating in accordance with the up and down movement of the operation lever 3, return springs 4, 5 for restoring the operation lever 3 and the driving plate 6 to their initial positions, a slider 7 sliding left and right according to the rotation of the driving plate 6, and a wafer 9 fitted with a fixed contact point 10a coming in sliding contact with a clip-like movable contact point 12 incorporated in the slider 7. At the movement of the slider 7, the movable contact point 12 slides pinching the fixed contact point 10a fitted vertically from the wafer 9, and at same time, the slider 7 is made biased to the sliding direction with a reversing screw 8 fitted to the slider 7.
