To obtain satisfactory click sensation in a reversing motion of a reversing plate and to prevent dust inversion onto a place for disposing the reversing plate by securing airflow around a periphery of the reversing plate in a switching element or a switch provided with the reversing plate.

Circular arc-shaped slits 50 positioned on the outer sides of a peripheral contour of a reversing plate are disposed at equivalent angle on a cover film 20 on which a reversing plate 30 in stuck. The slits 50 is opened, when the reversing plate 30 is subjected to reversing motion in a recessed shape made to follow the cover film 20, and the slits 50 is closed while the reversing plate 30 is in a no-load condition. In a place where air coming and going are necessary for the reversing motion of the reversing plate 30 (the periphery of the reversing plate: the outer side position of the peripheral contour of the reversing plate), air goes in and out when air coming and going is necessitated, and dust inversion is prevented at times other than the reversing motion. At the reversing motion of the reversing plate 30, a situation that hinders the reversing motion will not be generated.
