Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply device that has high versatility and can improve an efficiency during intermittent oscillation operation.SOLUTION: The switching power supply device comprises: an error amplifier that is fed toward a primary side as a FB signal indicating a state of a load; an OSC12 that reduces a switching frequency from a highest frequency at a normal time to a lowest frequency at the normal time on the basis of the FB signal, from the time of a heavy load through the time of a light load, at the time of normal oscillation operation when a switching frequency for switching operation is controlled and switching operation is consecutively performed; and a comparator COMP3 that controls intermittent oscillation operation by stopping the switching operation on the basis of the FB signal if the load is light. In an intermittent oscillation period during which the switching operation is performed at the time of the intermittent oscillation operation, the OSC12 increases the switching frequency from a frequency at a first intermittent time lower than the frequency at the normal time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
