Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce loss and noise that occur during recovery from switching stop under burst control to a switching operation.SOLUTION: In a period of time that switching is stopped under burst control, an LC resonance circuit including parasitic capacitance connected to a switching element in parallel resonates, and a high-side reference voltage VS vibrates. In a VS bottom detection circuit 28, each time a high-side reference voltage detection signal vs_det decreases below a reference voltage Vvs_ref having the value of the center of its peak value, a comparator 41 outputs an H-level signal. After a counter circuit 42 counts a predetermined number of H-level signals, a delay circuit 43 delays by the time of 1/4 of an oscillation period of the high-side reference voltage VS, and outputs a switching recovery signal bur_sw_on when reaching a VS bottom. Carrying out the recovery of a switching operation with this timing enables decrease in loss and noise.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
