Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power unit capable of turning on by constant current control with the same current value in only partly or total of LEDs selected from the LEDs for crystal liquid back light in a plurality of systems.
SOLUTION: This switching power unit performs feedback control so as to generate a fixed feedback current flowing in a resistor 8, and additionally selects by switches 18, 19 to determine whether the current is supplied to only the LED 6 for the crystal liquid back light, whether the current is supplied to only the LED 6' for the crystal liquid back light, or whether the current is supplied to a series connector of the LED 6 for the crystal liquid back light and the LED 6' for the crystal liquid back light.
