Title:
SWITCHING REGULATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06315262
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the turn off operations of a switching element from becoming slower due to a Miller phenomenon.

CONSTITUTION: This regulator has a short-circuiting means 22 which short- circuits the emitter of an output transistor 8 which is used as a switching element at the time of turning off the transistor 8 with he emitter of the transistor 8. The means 22 is constituted of, for example, a first resistor 18 which is connected in series with the base of the transistor 8, a depletion type FET 19 in which the drain and source are respectively connected to the emitter and base of the transistor 8 and the gate of which is connected to the base of the transistor 8 through the resistor 18, and second resistor 9 connected between the emitter of the transistor 8 and gate of the FET 19.
