Abstract:
PURPOSE:To absorb residual energy in extremely little loss, by mounting a coil for reset electromagnetically connected closely to a primary coil of a transformer, and by returning the residual energy to a power source at the primary side through the coil. CONSTITUTION:A primary coil N1, a secondary coil N2 and a coil Nr for reset are installed to a transformer T, and the coil Nr for reset is closely connected to the primary coil N1 by parallel winding, etc. A switching element Q is connected in series with the primary coil N1, and the primary coil N1 interrupts currents fed from a direct current power source and induces voltage to the secondary coil N2 when the switching element Q is in ON. Thus, the energy of residual magnetic flux and leakage inductance can be absorbed in little loss because currents flow to the power source side through a diode Dr by voltage induced to the coil Nr for reset when the switching element Q is in OFF.
