PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching unit which accurately and rapidly switches an active optical fiber to a bypass optical fiber.SOLUTION: In a switching unit, a magnet support part 90 in a latch state that movement of the magnet support part 90 is restricted by the latch mechanism, is in a position where a first magnet 91 and a flexure mechanism side magnet 15 are faced to each other while being energized by a spring 94, and a flexure mechanism support part 13 is given in which flexure parts 11, 12 are separated from flexure guide parts 21, 22 by magnetic force of the first magnet 91 and the flexure mechanism side magnet 15. The magnet support part 90, when the latch state by the latch mechanism is released, is moved by the energized force of the spring 94 to be a position where a second magnet 92 and the flexure mechanism side magnet 15 are faced to each other, and the flexure mechanism support part 13 is given in which the flexure parts 11, 12 are moved closer to the flexure guide parts 21, 22 by magnetic force of the second magnet 92 and the flexure mechanism side magnet 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
