To permit a transfer in a sitting posture to a toilet bowl or a bathtub from a wheelchair placed outside a toilet or a bathroom, hidability to be secured, a carer's burden to be reduced even when the transfer requires care, and a sound person to use the same toilet or bathroom without a hindrance.
The rotating transfer stool 10 is installed along the wall surface 2 of the toilet or the bathroom and foldable with a seat plate 7 provided addedly to the wall surface 2 and permitting a transfer in a sitting posture into a room from the outside through an entrance opening. The swiveling transfer stool is folded into a condition where the seat plate 7 and a stay 5 or legs 8 and 9 supporting the seat plate provided addedly to the wall surface 2 of the toilet or the bathroom. In that folded condition, the seat plate is located on the wall surface side of the toilet or the bathroom. When the seat plate 7 is opened, the seat plate moves across the entrance opening.
