PURPOSE: To mark symbol rigid cake such as biscuit on a transferring belt by providing hooking part on a transferring belt at intervals in the transferring direction and making at least one of guiding tools along both side of the transferring belt to elastically stretchable.

CONSTITUTION: Foods 10 such as biscuit is transferred together with transferring belt 11 by hooking part 13 on the transferring belt and at least one of guiding tools 14 and 15 provided at the position passing through symbol-marking part 12 is constructed as elastically stretchable in breadth direction of the transferring belt, then position of the food is correctly and stably fixed at a place of symbol-marking part, thus the symbol is marked.
