This device locates a pair of inner and outer intermediate cone rings between a synchrocone and a synchronizer ring. A protrusion part 131 axially extending from the edge of an inner intermediate cone ring is engaged with an engaging hole 21 formed in the side of a clutch hub 2, and a protrusion axially extending from the front edge of an outer intermediate cone ring is engaged with an engaging hole formed in the side of the synchrocone. In this case, in an engaging hole 131 of a clutch hub 2 with which the protrusion part 131 of an inner intercone ring is engaged, two end walls 211 in a peripheral direction with which the protrusion part 131 makes contact with is provided with a radially learly extending linear shape part 212, and the protrusion part 131 makes contact with the two end walls 211 in a peripheral direction always at right angles.
