Abstract:

To avoid unnecessary contact between a cone surface of a gear of a synchronizer and a frictional surface of a synchronizer ring with simple structure where the number of components is reduced.

An energizing member 21 disposed between a synchronizer ring 17 and a gear 16 in a synchronizer S includes: an annular body part 21a abutted on the synchronizer ring 17; a plurality of positioning recess parts 21b formed by notching a part of the body part 21a; and a plurality of elastic parts 21c formed by folding a part of the body part 21a. Therefore, the positioning recess parts 21b are engaged to positioning projection parts 17c formed in the synchronizer ring 17 to position the energizing member 21 in a radial direction, and the elastic parts 21c are abutted on the gear 16 to energize the synchronizer ring 17 away from the gear 16. Since the single energizing member 21 integrally includes the positioning recess parts 21b and the elastic parts 21c, as compared with the case where a plurality of energizing members are fixed to the gear 16 by means of bolts, respectively, the number of components and man-hour for assembly can be reduced, thereby contributing to reduction in cost.
