Abstract:
To provide a synchronizer for a vehicle which can reduce a size and weight of a holder by improving the durability of the holder.SOLUTION: In a synchronization holder 88, since a first lock part 88h and a second lock part 88i are arranged in positions which are displaced from each other around a rotation axial line C, when synchronizing a rotational speed of a ring gear 40 and a rotational speed of a center axel 46, stress generated by the transmission of synchronization torque T to an outer ring 82, and stress generated by the transmission of the synchronization torque T to an inner ring 84 can be suitably dispersed in the synchronization holder 88. By this constitution, the durability of the synchronization holder 88 can be suitably improved compared with a synchronization holder 90 in which, for example, the stress generated by the transmission of the synchronization torque T to the outer ring 82, and the stress generated by the transmission of the synchronization torque T to the inner ring 84 are concentrated to one point of the synchronization holder 90.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
