To provide a synchronous input system for a synchronous motor capable of facilitating a change in a compensation value for a phase, properly synchronizing a frequency and voltage without applying shock to the synchronous motor and a system, and synchronously inputting the synchronous motor to a system power supply.
When the synchronous motor 2 reaches around a rated speed started by a thyristor starting system 1 corresponding to acceleration patterns, a speed synchronizing control is performed by an automatic synchronous input device 7 based on the frequency of the synchronous motor 2 and the system power supply to synchronously input the synchronous motor 2 into the system power supply. At the time of inputting, drift in a phase angle to the system power supply of the synchronous motor 2 caused by the time when output power supply of the thyristor starting system 1 is inputted to the system power supply from the time when the output becomes 0 is compensated for by a phase adjuster 8.
