Abstract:
To provide a synchronous machine capable of reducing an iron loss by moderating inclination at at the tip of a tooth with respect to the direction of easy magnetization of flux thereby suppressing the generation of a rotating field and improving magnetic characteristics of a steel member.
The synchronous machine comprises a stator composed of a yoke and teeth, and a rotor wherein cuts are formed at the tip of a tooth. Preferably, the cuts are formed on both inlet and outlet sides with respect to the advancing direction of the rotor.
