Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous motor comprising a permanent magnet which can further control both cogging torque and torque impulse during the power feeding than those in the prior art. SOLUTION: A size δd of a gap formed between the external circumferential surface part of a rotor core 7 located between a couple of magnetic projected pole portions 9, 9 from the center of a shift 6 and the surface of magnetic pole of a stator core 3 is defined as δd=δd0/cos (pθd). δdO is a size [unit: m] of the gap along a virtual center line PLO passing the center of the two virtual lines PL1 and PL2 passing the center of the shaft and both end portions of the external circumferential portion and θd is an angle formed by the virtual center line PLO and two virtual lines PL1 and PL2.
