Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous reluctance motor capable of increasing output torque while decreasing torque ripple.SOLUTION: In a plan view, a region surrounded by a polygon having vertices at the circumferential center points of respective flux barrier groups on the outer peripheral edge of a rotor 20 is a polygonal region, multiplex flux barriers 23 in each flux barrier group include an arcuate part formed in the polygonal region, and the arc center of the arcuate part in each flux barrier group is set at the circumferential center point of each flux barrier group on the outer peripheral edge of the rotor. Assuming the region between two adjoining flux barriers in a flux barrier group of the rotor is a rib, and a part close to the outer periphery of the rotor in the region between adjoining flux barrier groups is a connecting part, the ratio of connecting part width to the rib width is 0.53-0.8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
