Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous reluctance type rotary electric machine including a cavity having part in which a conductor can be securely arranged to enable improvement of drive efficiency.SOLUTION: A synchronous reluctance type rotary electric machine of an embodiment includes a shaft, a rotor core, a rotor core presser, a plurality of conductor bars, and a short circuit ring. The shaft rotates around a rotation axis. The rotor core is fixed on the shaft and includes, for each pole, a plurality of layers of cavities in a convex shape protruding inwards in the radial direction. The rotor core presser presses and holds the rotor core from both sides in the rotation axis direction. The plurality of conductor bars are arranged in the cavities, extend along the rotation axis, and have both ends protruding through the rotor core presser. The short circuit ring is provided at each of both ends of the plurality of conductor bars to connect the plurality of conductor bars. The conductor bars are fixed to the rotor core presser.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
