Abstract:
To provide a catalyst which makes it possible to obtain synthesis gas from dimethyl ether at a reaction temperature of about 300 to 350°C at a high yield and a method of manufacturing the synthesis gas.
The method of manufacturing the synthesis gas comprises acting the catalyst consisting of a material containing copper and a material having solid acidity on a gaseous mixture composed of the dimethyl ether and steam.
