Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which synthesizes a carbon nanotube at a low cost and in large quantities and provide an apparatus using for this method, and to provide a high orientational alignment carbon nanotube which is arranged.
SOLUTION: A thin film composed of a metal element is deposited on a substrate, a substrate 3 on which the thin film is deposited is exposed to a hydrogen plasma, and the substrate 3 exposed to the hydrogen plasma is heated in an organic liquid 10 at a specific temperature to obtain the objective tube.
