Abstract:
To provide a new asphalt substitute, i.e. synthetic asphalt by effectively utilizing waste oils generated from various oils such as mineral oils, vegetable oils and animal oils.
The synthetic asphalt (asphalt substitute) is characterized by comprising: (A) at least one of oily material selected from the group comprising the mineral oils, the vegetable oils, the animal oils and the waste oils thereof: and (B) a polyolefin which is a solid at normal temperature and has 120C softening point measured according to JIS K2531 and holding 103 Pa complex modulus (Pa) at 20-120C temperature.
