To realize a phase detection, a phase control, weighing, symbol timing synchronous signal detection or the like for a synthetic diversity in one circuit block.
A synthetic diversity receiver takes a complex correlation of a preamble of each base band signal acquired by quadrature-demodulating two IF signals and a preamble stored in a memory, takes a phase difference of the preamble of each base band signal and the stored preamble by the acquired complex correlation, detects a phase difference of both the IF signals from both the phase differences, controls the phase of the one IF signal by the acquired phase difference signal, sets both the IF signals in phase, and synthesizes the signals. The receiver controls a gain of each IF signal according to an absolute value of one complex correlation. The receiver acquired a symbol timing synchronous signal from a peak value of the absolute value of the one complex correlation.
