Abstract:

To provide a new compound that bears an ether bond and an epoxy group on the side chain because vitamin D and derivatives thereof have important physiological activity and proliferation inhibitory action, but it has undesirable side effects.

This invention relates to a method of producing the compound having the structure represented by formula I (wherein n is an integer of 1-5; R1 and R2 are each a 1-6C alkyl; W and X are each H or a 1-6C alkyl; Y is O, S or the like; Z represents a compound of formula II or III; R4-R13 are each H or a lower alkyloxy, amino or the like).
