PURPOSE: To obtain a soft synthetic leather having excellent feeling and drapeability and free from residual adhesive by successively laminating a wet- coagulated porous polyurethane layer and a surface skin layer on the surface of a stretchable textile substrate having raised reverse surface.
CONSTITUTION: A non-stretchable substrate is coated with 3-200g/m2 of an adhesive in terms of the resin solid component of the adhesive. The raised reverse face of a stretchable textile substrate having at least raised reverse face (e.g., a knit fabric such as tricot made of natural chemical fiber) is laminated to the above coated face and a polyurethane solution is applied to the stretchable textile substrate and coagulated in wet state to obtain a porous layer. The non-stretchable substrate is peeled off from the laminate. Separately, a polyurethane resin liquid is applied to a releasing paper having a grain leather pattern and dried. The releasing paper is laminated to the wet-coagulated porous layer and peeled off to obtain a high-quality synthetic leather having suede-like reverse face.
