Each of toothed coupling parts 10, 11 for latching coupling provided at both ends 3, 4 of a ring-shaped band 2 of a synthetic material has a first latch element 12 with a latching tooth 13 directed toward the inside of the ring-shaped band and a second latch element 14 with a latching tooth 15 directed toward the outside of the ring-shaped band. These latching elements 12, 14 are arranged so that the first latching element 12 of a coupling part 10 or 11 is engaged with the other coupling part 11 or 10 upon the closing of the latching coupling. In each of the first and the second latching elements 12, 14 of the coupling parts 10, 11, the band is located in a longitudinal direction and the coupling parts 10, 11 include supporting surfaces on a side directed toward a separating face and supporting surfaces of both the coupling parts 10, 11 are engaged with each other when the latching coupling is closed.
