PURPOSE: A synthetic resin composition having excellent self-lubrication and abrasion resistance, which is useful as a bearing material, comprising a thermosetting polyimide resin, a polytetrafluoroethylene resin, a lubricating oil material and a thermoplastic resin.

CONSTITUTION: A synthetic resin composition having excellent lubricity, comprising (A) 4W25wt% of a thermosetting polyimide resin, (B) 5W15wt% of a polytetrafuoroethylene resin, (C) 2W15wt% of a lubricating oil material, and (D) the balance of a thermoplastic resin. Examples of the component (A) include the polymerization product between bismaleimide and a compound represented by the formula and being the adduct of isocyanuric acid and a glycidyl ether, and the polyaddition product between bismaleimide and alkylenediamine. Examples of the component (C) include lubricating oil materials which are solid at normal temperatures but become liquid at a temperature below the molding temperature, such as mineral oil, animal and vegetable oil, wax or metallic soaps.
