Abstract:
To provide a synthetic resin emulsion which has good properties such as weather resistance, freezing tolerance, hot-water resistance, etc., and is especially suitable for coatings for cladding.
The tilted emulsion comprises at least a synthetic resin prepared by copolymerizing cyclohexyl (meth)acrylate and a vinyl ester of a branched carboxylic acid. Preferably, the vinyl ester of a branched carboxylic acid has a structure of the formula (wherein R1, R2 and R3 are each an alkyl group, provided that at least one of them is a methyl group and the total of their carbon numbers is from 7 to 9).
