Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make the captioned assembly wheel light-weight while keeping it prescribed strength and rigidity as a whole by constructing a wheel main body with a synthetic resin material of less tensile elastic modulus than that of high tensile elastic-modulus. CONSTITUTION:An assembly wheel comprises a hub H, a wheel main body W demountably assembled on said hub H, and a tire T mounted on said wheel main body W. The hub H is constructed with a synthetic resin material having higher tensile elastic modulus, strength, and rigidity, while the wheel main body W constructed with a synthetic resin material having less tensile elastic modulus than that of said high tensile elastic modulus. To be concrete, nylon resin, polycarbonate resin, ABS resin, polyacetal resin, and acetyl cellulose resin are employed. In addition, carbon fiber epoxy resin called fiber-reinforced resin, and boron fiber epoxy resin are employed as the synthetic resin material for the hub H.
