To provide a synthetic resin made flexible tube capable of obtaining both the flexibility and waterproof performance.
A flexible tube 1 is formed by helically winding a synthetic resin strip S extruded so as to have a predetermined cross section. One side edge of the strip S is a first fitting side edge S1 having a fork shape, and the other side edge is a second fitting side edge S2. The second fitting side edge S2 is slidably inserted between the fork of the adjoining first fitting side edge S1 in a wound state. A first engagement unit S13 provided in the first fitting side edge S1, and the second engagement unit S23 provided in the second fitting side edge S2 are engaged with each other so that the second fitting side edge S2 is prevented from removing from between the fork of the first fitting side edge S1, and the strip S is made to the cylindrical flexible tube 1. A water stop material P made of water-absorbing swelling nonwoven fabric is spirally provided in a portion in which the first fitting side edge S1 faces the second fitting side edge S2. Preferably, an extension S111 is provided in the first fitting side edge S1, and the water stop material P is arranged in the extension.
