Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3628266
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string for a racket which satisfies both of the feel of hitting (a soft feel) and durability and is obtainable at a low cost.
SOLUTION: The synthetic string for the racket consists of a monofilament configurated in such a manner the section has five gouged sections 5 toward a central section 2 from an outer peripheral surface 4 and the central section 2 has substantially no holes and is integrated. The monofilament is formed to the shape thickened toward the end in which the total length c of the opening width of the gouged sections in the depth segments half the gouges shown by the average value ((a+b)/2) of the diameter (diameter a) of the circumcircle 5 of the outer peripheral surface 4 and the diameter (diameter b) of the inscribed circle 6 of the central section 2 is 4% (<45%) and the width Ym of the segment having the maximum width of projecting parts 3 is greater than the width Yi at the roots of the projecting parts.
