Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe for coating material supply, capable of mounting on a robot arm by simplification and weight reduction, and capable of reducing the amount of waste of the coating material and consumption of a cleaning solvent by shortening a coating material hose.SOLUTION: A syringe for coating material supply is provided with: an operation shaft 9 connected to the turning shaft of a motor as a driving source concentrically with the turning shaft; a hollow cylinder 2 which is arcuately curved concentrically with the operation shaft 9 and closes a top part with a head cover 3 having a coating material discharge port 4; a piston 5 arcuately reciprocable in the cylinder 2 concentrically with the cylinder 2; a piston rod 6 which connects to the piston 5 at a top part and to the operation shaft 9 at a base end part, and turns concentrically with the cylinder 2 by driving the motor to make the piston 5 reciprocable in the cylinder 2; and a seal member which is disposed at the outer peripheral side of the piston 5 and slides on the inner wall of the cylinder 2 accompanying the reciprocation of the piston 5.
