This syringe pump 1 is provided with a main body 21 provided with a retaining part 93 retaining the syringe 6 including a piston 70, a pressing body 5 pressing the piston 70 in an axial direction, a motor 20 driving the pressing body 5, a control part 21 controlling operation of the motor 20, a stroke adjusting bar 60 attached to the pressing body movably in an axial direction of the piston 70, a terminal part 8 fixed on the main body 2 and contacting a tip of the stroke adjusting bar 60, and a detection part 9 detecting contact of the terminal part 8 and the tip of the stroke adjusting bar 60, and the control part 21 stops operation of the motor 20 based on detection of the detection part 9.
