To provide a system for classifying dredged soil, in which the dredged soil dredged by a high-concentration dredger, a grab dredger, etc. is classified by a cyclone at a step to unload the dredged soil by using a pneumatic conveying system.
The soft/muddy dredged soil S is conveyed pneumatically and introduced into a main body 125 of the inverted cone-shaped cyclone as a soil plug S' to be conveyed forcibly in a turbulent flow state while repeating the formation and collapse of the soil plug S' in a soil forcibly conveying pipe 118. The soil plug S' is separated into two phases of a fine particle portion (b) and a coarse particle portion (a) by making good use of the centrifugal force caused by the velocity energy of the soil plug and a weight difference of the object to be treated. A bottom end opening of an overflow discharge pipe 133 arranged in the axial center part of the main body 125 is positioned in a zone of the fine particle portion (b) and the soil in the zone of the fine particle portion (b) is discharged from the overflow discharge pipe 133 by making good use of the pressure of high pressure air for forcibly conveying the dredged soil.
