Abstract:
To provide a system and an apparatus used in monitoring and controlling a load within a power generating system.
An electrical socket (100) includes at least one power port and at least one monitoring and control device (26) that is coupled to the at least one power port. The monitoring and control device (26) includes a load control module (50) configured to control an amount of electrical power transmitted to at least one electrical load. The load control module is further configured to receive a power control command from a power system (10) and to transmit a power control acknowledgement responce to the power system.
