Abstract:
To provide a system and an apparatus that can utilize a currently-used shopping basket.SOLUTION: The system includes: a plurality of shopping baskets 6 having a reading apparatus 18 that reads information attached to a commodity; and an accounting terminal 4 that performs accounting processing on the basis of the information acquired from the reading apparatus 18. The reading apparatus 18 has a reading unit 30 that reads the information, and a transmission unit 34 that transmits the read information to the accounting terminal 4.
