PURPOSE: To facilitate an editing work and to improve a practical effect as a small-sized device for household by providing a music selection device provided with a function optionally continuously selecting many musics over plural compact disks.

CONSTITUTION: An operation button of the music selection device 12 is operated, and for instance, by beforehand setting so as to select successively a third program of a second CD, a second program of a fourth CD, a sixth program of a first CD, a first program of a fifth CD, a third program of a third CD, a fifth program of the second CD,... and so on, among set plural sheets of CDs, the editing sound recording is performed on a cassette tape according to the setting. Thus, even when the musics to be sound recorded extend over many CDs, the editing sound recording is performed automatically without individually exchanging the CDs.
