Title:
SYSTEM FOR CALIBRATING DRIVE SIGNAL IN CORIOLIS FLOWMETER TO CAUSE THE DRIVER TO VIBRATE CONDUIT IN DESIRED MODE OF VIBRATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011158482
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a flow rate measuring apparatus that calibrates a drive signal applied to a driving device fixed to a conduit and causes a conduit to be vibrated in a desired vibration mode.

The steps for measuring flow of material in a flow tube in a flow rate measuring apparatus includes causing a flow tube to be vibrated by a driving device, using noise signal 901; measuring vibration of the flow tube, in response to it 902; detecting physical characteristics of the flow tube and the driving device from the measured vibration 903; and defining a drive signal for the driving device, in response to detection of the physical characteristics 906. The drive signal is calculated in accordance with the physical characteristics of the driving device. The flow tube is vibrated in a desired vibration mode by applying the defined drive signal to the driving device.
