Abstract:

To efficiently analyze gene expression.

This analysis is a method for determining whether or not a transcript is present in a biological sample. The method includes the step in which plural perfect match strength values (PMi) and mismatch strength values (MMi) on the transcript are provided and each of MPi is paired with one of MMi, the step in which ρ value is calculated by the use of the one side Wilcoxon sign-bearing rank calibration and the ρ value is on the coming-to- nothing hypothesis that is π = threshold value and the alternative hypothesis that is θ > threshold value and the θ is the calibration statistics on the difference of the strength between the perfect match strength value and the mismatch strength value, and the step showing whether or not the transcript is present on the basis of the ρ value.
