Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control it by working in closer coorperation even when the peripheral equipment made by another company is mixed by inspecting the connection relation of the peripheral equipment and a category of every maker and storing them in a memory. CONSTITUTION:A program memory for inspecting system arrangement is incorporated previously in the controller of a main audio vidual (AV) equipment, e.g. a TV receiver 1, and operation command data is outputted from the program memory which operates the on/off of power source to other respective AV equipments, e.g. an MDP 3, an 8mm VTR 4, a tape deck 5 and an FM tuner 6. Then, when the on/off operation of the power source is detected with the operation command data, it is decided that the AV equipment is incorporated in an AV system and the address and the category of the AV equipment is checked and stored in the memory. Thus, the system is managed easily even when the product made by another company is mixed.
