Abstract:

To reduce costs for maintaining and managing a system for article ordering or the like and to easily settle the costs.

In a system charge settlement method in an article information providing system utilizing a portable phone line network, a program for a portable telephone set to carry out ordering procedures is created, the developed program is downloaded to the portable telephone set, and the portable telephone set to which the program is downloaded, is provided to an article information providing service user free of charge to the user. The user places an order with a product provider for the concerned article using the telephone set, and the article information applicant performs payment to a communication line provider and a program developer a call tariff used for ordering as costs.
