Abstract:
To precisely and promptly couple a trailer to an automobile.
The system coupling a trailer 2 to an automobile 1, especially to a tractor 1, is provided with an image sensor 5 positioned in a coupling area. A coupling process includes connection between a trailer coupler 4 of the automobile and a towing rod 2 of the trailer 2, and is detected by the image sensor 5 detecting movement of a lock element 8 related to the trailer coupler 4. At that time, a process for braking the automobile is started.
