Patent Searching and Data

Title:
SYSTEM FOR DETECTING DATA DISCREPANCY OF MEMORY CARD AND ITS METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3230743
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a data discrepancy detection system for a memory card, which can specify the moment an error occurs to the memory card and find a wrong place by making a display part lit, when the number of discrepancies in an area is 1 or larger and lit off when 0.
SOLUTION: A monitor unit 1 refers to a state register 32 and a state register 42 to find whether or not a memory card 31, and a memory card 41 are loaded. When they are both loaded, a read address is confirmed and one byte is read out of the memory card 31 and the memory card 41. The read data are compared with each other to decide whether they match each other. When they do not, the number of discrepant data is counted and the lamps of a display part 35 and a display part 45 are turned on. When there are no discrepant data, the lamps of the display parts 35 and 45 are turned off. Consequently, if an error occurs between the memory cards 31 and 41, it can be immediately recognized.
