Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a large fault such as the malfunction of a program or the destruction of a file by attaching a flag to represent the fact that a record is imperfect on the record, and operating a fault generation record detecting processor. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary storage device 1 attaches a fault flag 12 on the record which becomes an imperfect record by generating a fault in performing the transfer of data to its own device. An auxiliary storage controller 2 discriminates the record in which the fault is generated by the fault flag 12, and stores the information of the fault in a fault information storage means 6. A fault generation detecting processor 3 reads fault information stored in the fault information storage means 6 by an information acquiring means 7, and the fault information is analyzed and detected at an information analysis and detection means 8. In such a way, it is possible to prevent the malfunction of the program or the destruction of the file from being generated.
