Title:
SYSTEM FOR GENERATING ELECTRIC POWER IN VEHICLE AND DISTRIBUTING IT TO LOADS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002252905
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a system for generating and distributing an electric power in a vehicle.

The system for generating and distributing the power in the vehicle is equipped with at least one electrically driven motor connected to a fuel cell unit via an inverter. The fuel cell unit is connected to at least a first, second and third voltage networks, and each voltage network is equipped with at least one related electric load and/or at least one related energy storage device. The first voltage network is formed by the fuel cell voltage network, and also connected to the second voltage network via a first bi-directional DC/DC converter. The first bi-directional DC/DC converter provides DC insulation between the first voltage network and the second voltage network. The second voltage network is connected to the third voltage network via a second bi-directional converter.
