Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television set with storage means for compulsory storing for selectively receiving and storing advertisement information.
SOLUTION: The system, the information display unit and the method stores advertisement information in the storage means 2 of the television set 1, in addition to various television programs. The storage means consists of an area that can be used exclusively and an area that is freely used, and the advertisement information, provided by establishments and necessary information for ordinary people, are mainly received selectively and stored in the former area. The content of the advertisement information is rewritten properly automatically and a viewing audience can watch it 24 hours everyday throughout a year, so that they can always use the latest advertisement information for free. An HDD of the storage means can be used for spotting a receive box of electronic commerce and for accumulating articles of electronic newspaper. Cost for providing the advertisement information is as small as about 1/10, and about 1/8 comparing with the conventional direct mails and fliers, respectively.
