To provide a system information instruction method, a device, and a communication system.SOLUTION: A network device directs user equipment (UE) to a system information block (SIB) corresponding to an area-related identifier or a system information-related index 201. When the UE stores the area-related identifier or system information-related index specified by a current cell, the UE does not need to reacquire the system information and determines that the currently stored system information is valid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
