Title:
SYSTEM FOR INK SHORT PROTECTION, ITS PROTECTING METHOD, AND INK PRINTING HEAD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3810712
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect constant current differential signal transmission printer drivers such as LVDS drivers and printer electronic components from a destruction action of a supply current at an ink short time. SOLUTION: An ink short protection system for transmitting signals to an ink jet printing head is provided with active circuits 26 and 62. The circuits direct the current for data elements of a logic 1 to a driver first terminal 78, and direct the current for data elements of a logic 0 to a driver second terminal 80, thereby operating a data stream transmitted from the driver 74. Signals present on the first and the second driver terminals 78 and 80 become useful to negate electric charges applied to capacitors 86 and 88 by previous signals.
