Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate cross modulation and to reduce the number of heads by constituting the titled system so that a luminance signal and a chrominance signal are recorded/reproduced on/from separated tracks by using a memory means to be used for this purpose. CONSTITUTION:A luminance signal from an input terminal 8 is FM-modulated in an FM modulator circuit 14, and transmitted to the contact point (a) of a change over switch 16A. Color difference signals are inputted from input terminals 36, 38, and stored in frame memories 48, 50. Color difference signals read from the memories 48, 50 are transmitted to the contact point (b) of a switching switch 16B through FM modulator circuits 64, 66 and an adder 74, etc. The switches 16A, 16B are controlled by a system controller 34, so that the luminance signal and the color difference signals are recorded on the separated tracks of a magnetic disk 24 by magnetic heads 22A, 22B.
