Abstract:
PURPOSE: To evade a serious fault by making it possible to report a latent fault at a time from which the time long enough to perform correcting operation available before an actual fault occurs as managing capability increases.
CONSTITUTION: The computer network is equipped with a file server 12 which has a computer system board and bus 13, a computer station which has a console 36, a network 28 which couples the console 36 with the file server 12, a network operating system 14 which controls information transfer between the console 36 and file server 12 through the network, and the system manager 22 which monitors signals transferred by the computer system board and bus 13 to decide an alarm state and generates an alarm, and thus manages the computer system board and bus 13.
